  All reading rooms and library departments provide both operative library and informational-bibliographic service.

Reading room №1

Head of the reading room - Efimenko N.A.

  The reading room serves students of all forms of study, teaching staff, scientific and research assistants of the Academy, and also students and teaching staff of other educational institutions of Bryansk and the region, specialists and employees of various enterprises and institutions.

  There is a specialized reading room of the economic literature supplying maximum conditions for scientific work of students and teachers of the Economy faculty, and also Fund of Rare Book which is of great scientific and historical value.  

 Department of acquisition and scientific processing of literature

Head of Department - Shinkarevich L.K.

     The primary task of Department is selection and scientific processing of teaching and scientific literature which subjects to curriculum and educational standards of the day.

     Department has all information concerning publications of teaching and scientific literature on specialization of the Academy fixed in the electronic filing. 

     Department keeps electronic records of the literature received.

     The second important task of Department - organization and management library catalogue including electronic one.

      Now the electronic catalogue numbers about 11 500 books.

Department of library automation

Head of Department - Artjuhova S.V.

Department tasks include application of multipurpose computerized library system MARC SQL and control over library equipment.

Library users are offered computers to work with the electronic filing, and teaching and scientific electronic resources.

Additional paid services are scanning, printing, copying materials on various electronic medium.

Bibliographical department

Head of Department - Lopatkina S.N.

Department has Reference Fund comprising universal and specialized reference media and encyclopedias.

Department carries out following services:

• Consultations on literature search;
• Data searching;
• Clarification of bibliographic data;
• Consultations on preparation of bibliographic lists;
• Specification of Universal Decimal classification and Library Bibliographic classification indexes;
• and also
• Popularization of library bibliographic knowledge;
• Training to work with reference and search aids and bibliographic databases,

 

Department of Teaching Literature

Head of Department - Erashova N.Е.

Department serves students, teaching and scientific staff, and workers of the Academy. 

Department of Fiction

Head of Department - Komazenkova V.N.

Department organizes cultural and educational work of all departments of the library, services readers.

Together with public organizations, workers of the Academy, Department organizes and holds reader's conferences, literary soirees, debates, literature round-ups and book exhibitions.

 
Department of Scientific Literature

Head of Department - Zaharova T.A.

Department services students, teaching and scientific staff, and post-graduate students of the Academy according to their scientific researches.

Department comprises literature on special sciences, and also foreign, regional, political and methodical literature.
